Poetry in Light
The apostrophe – a punctuation mark with a wonderfully diverse expression. No wonder that artist Via Lewandowsky chose to celebrate this cultural achievement. Hobelsberger Studios brought the idea to life with a colourful expression made from specially treated glass.
When conceptual artist Via Lewandowsky contacted Hobelsberger Studios about his artwork Splendor of Omission, the task was to create a sparkling apostrophe. The resulting colourful, multi-faceted glass reminds us of the many aspects and connotations that we can express via the apostrophe.
This work is just one in a long history of my collaborations with Via Lewandowsky. In all these years we have realised many art projects. With Hobelsberger Studios, I have always strived for the perfect formal materialisations and style to meet his concepts and ideas. It is an unusual and alluring area within the field of design.
